传记: |
Well, I have been painting for a long time, at least since the
50's. I attended art classes for many years and developed my skills
independently. I have paintings hanging in many
places, Alaska, Canada, Texas, Japan and even Shanghai China and I suppose
that this is supposed to count for something. But, alas when all is said
and done it all comes down to what you do and how you do it, as well as
all the agony you feel for this or that painting. Painting at best is a
lonely profession, your face to the canvas and your back to all else. I
believe that my work can probably best be described as varied in style
and technique, or if you like, eclectic. I like whimsy, abstraction and
poking fun in some small way in my work and I bow to all who take the
time to read this, thank you.

描述: |
These paintings are an all around example of what I do and how I think,
they are special, the results of years of study and work. I love to deal
in color and need to feel the work before starting, I often run an idea
through my head for days or even weeks before I can put brush to canvas.
The process often results in some very exciting and surprising work more
than painting a picture, I like to think I am portraying an inner idea, a
feeling of that idea, whether it be Abstract or of other disciplines.
