Walker's work has been exhibited locally, nationally and internationally since the early 90's. Her recent show, "En Route", dealt with transisition and process as filtered through images of travel. Her style is narrative/modernist and her subject matter ranges from figurative to urban landscapes. |

I paint to communicate my response to life. What I see, what I feel - I paint. Each piece is a combination of imagery and emotion to the point that reality is abstracted to make way for the emotional aspects. My hope is that my work can be a bridge between what is seen and what is experienced, between occurrence and remembering, between abstract and real. |
