Statement:  Geng HaoGang uses the traditional Chinese art of creative composition embellished with a piece of color to complete a collage. It creates interest, and by piecing together the movement, adds mystery to the works. In addition, the series of works he produced in 2008, he tried to find creative ancient oriental tradition. When Geng HaoGang was in Italy to study; he was deeply influenced by the ultra-avant-garde ideas. His early works often adopted the image of Western fairy tales. He created a new image by combining western art with an Asian flavor.

In addition to the knowledgeable entities influence, Geng HaoGang has his own style that is just as an important element in his work. In this collage, it is the way to the perfect performance. Geng HaoGang and other artists’ views are different. He wanted to give works of art, not just pursue pure art. He hopes no art can be subject to fashion sense. "I hope a work of art will never become obsolete, but that people will never tire of it.” For him, art should be accessible to ordinary people in daily life, and even become "popular." Then, everyone can practice the ideal combination of art and life.

Geng HaoGang draws ideas from color and contemporary art. He assembles techniques with elements of various levels drawing from fashion, everyday experiences, childhood memories, traditional paintings to present a skilled work of art.
