Artist:  David Lofton
Biography:  Dave Lofton has worked as a graphic artist and screenprinter in San Francisco for the past 24 years.

Born in Redondo Beach he started painting as soon as his hand could encircle a paint brush. He studied art formally for 8 years before entering the work world.Utilizing screenprinting, drawing and graphics talents he has for over 28 years supported himself and his family.

Statement:  Dave's work reflects a mixture of exposures with a unique personality stirring beneath a battle of abstraction, realism and post-impressionism that has brought his work praise and comparison with such artists as Theibold and Hopper. His subject matter varies with his mood.Love of the Victorian architecture of San Francisco is heavily represented in the body of his work.
