Shen JianHua

Shen JianHua, with more than 20 years photographic experience, has taken specialized studies in the artistic academy majoring drawing and sculpture before doing photography.
After graduation, he works in Shanghai industrial art research institute and Shanghai industrial art museum and starts his study in Chinese literature.
He's been a edutir of artistic magazines, a chief editor of fashion magazines, an artistic Director of design companies, a university artistic photography professor and a columnist of 'Artistic World', 'Hong Kong Good friends' as well. With several books issued, the latest one is a narration of photography technology and art: named "from Photographs to art" (co-authored with a French artist photographor).
For Shen Jianhua, photograph is not restricted in its yoke of space-time reference marks, of images of a private diary, it takes at his place very an other dimension: It is a true setting in scene of its dreams, its phantasms, and its desires, suggesting at the same time the sensuality, the strange one, the unknown of the subconscious.
