Master Yao HaiCheng’s Resume

Mr. Yao Hai Cheng was born in 1949 in Shanghai. He is also called dual-bamboo house owner for his professional work. He was a member of China Calligraphy Association (Shanghai branch), member of Sino-Japan Water Ink painting Association, member of Chinese Orchestra Association, and senior consultant of Shanghai Xinhua Auction Agency for calligraphy and painting works.

Mr. Yao started his art career with traditional Chinese calligraphy and paintings, following mountain-water paintings from Song and Yuan Dynasty and calligraphy from Jin and Tang Dynasty. His achievement and unique art style has been widely recognized. For example, as early as 1988, exclusive exhibition of his works in Osaka, Japan has been overwhelmingly responded and a large amount of his works was collected by the businessmen and governors in Osaka. Many personal exhibitions in China and oversea have led to the fact that majority of his works was collected by people worldwide.
